All Aboard! Your students will discover what makes different objects float or sink. Buoyancy, density, water displacement; it all counts if they are to build a boat that is capable of carrying a load without sinking!

Grade 2: Topic B. Bouyancy and Boats

Over the course of 4 sessions, your students will learn the basics of coding and design and build their own game or app. We will adapt the program to suit your students skill level.

Across four interactive sessions students will learn about the planets in our solar system, why Earth has seasons, the movements of the Sun, Moon and stars, and constellations.

Your Human Guide will introduce you to this planet through virtual games, teach you ways to communicate with Earthlings, help you share stories about your home planet, and encourage you to do some star gazing.

Using practical demonstrations and thought exercises, students will evaluate what is needed to conduct a space mission. Over the course of four sessions students will consider the various destinations of space missions, the technologies used in spaceflight, navigation methods, and optical instruments.
